Alijn Danau en Stefaan Bleyenberg started fishing on the Island called Aghalbou (on the right of the base camp). First night, first carp: 19,5 kg common. After 3 days/nights, they caught 5 carp in total. (the 19,5 kg common one and 4 smaller common ones). They decided to move to a swim, all the way in the back of the French Bay. This swim (close to the river) has never been fished before, as this swim is only fishable with exceptional high water level, which is now the case...(The water level was approx. 2m under absolute maximum). (The previous time, the lake had this exeptional high water level, was in 1996). They gave the swim the name 'The Island of Stefaan & Alijn'. (Without this exceptional high water level, this swim is almost all 'dry land'...and no swim at all !) They ended up with 44 carp in that swim, on 5 days/nights fishing.
All together, they caught 20.5 kg, 19.5 kg, 18.6 kg, 18 kg, 16.5 kg, 16 kg and 33 carp between 10 and 15 kg. (all commons). Few carp under 10 kg. In total 49 carp. Mirrors, they caught 15.5 kg, 15 kg, and 2 more of approx. 10 kg.
De eerste 4 dagen visten ze op het eiland Aghalbou, rechts van het basiskamp. Eerste vis, eerste avond om 23.00 u, 19,5 kg schub.
Daarna vingen ze nog een aantal kleinere vissen, allen schubs tussen de 10 en 13 kg. In totaal, de eerste 4 dagen 5 vissen. Daarna zijn ze verkast naar een plaats waar... nog nooit is gevist... Op een plaats waar de rivier 'overloopt' in het meer, ten gevolge van de hoge waterstand.
De waterstand is momenteel -1 m van het absolute mogelijke maximum! Op deze plaats is het normaal altijd droog maar door de hoge waterstand is deze plaats een stek geworden... helemaal achteraan in de zgn. Franse baai. Daar hebben ze nog 44 karpers gevangen.
De meesten op (Atlas) boilies, een tiental op tijgers. In totaal 49 karpers. Alles samen: 20.5 kg, 19.5 kg, 18.6 kg, 18 kg, 16.5 kg, 16 kg en 33 karpers tussen10 and 15 kg. (allen schubs). Enkele karpers onder de 10 kg. Ook 4 spiegels werden gevangen, 15.5 kg, 15 kg, en nog 2 van ongeveer 10 kg.
Alijn Danau et Stefaan Bleyenberg ont pêché BEO à partir de Mars, 8 à 16 Mars. (9 jours de pêche). Les premiers 4 jours, ils ont pêché sur l' île Aghalbou, à droite du camp de base. Premier poisson, le premier soir à 23h00, 19,5 kg (commune). Puis ils ont pris encore 4 carpes, tous entre 10 et 13 kg.(commune). Puis ils ont déménagé à un endroit où on a jamais pêché ... Dans un endroit où la rivière "déborde" en Lac, en raison du niveau d'eau élevé. Le niveau d'eau est actuellement -1 m du potentiel maximum absolu! A cet endroit, à l'arrière de la baie Française, il est normalement sec, mais maintenant c'etait une place a pecher. Là, ils ont prix encore 44 carpes. La plupart aux (Atlas) bouillettes, une douzaine au tigres. Un total de 49 carpes ensemble: 20,5 kg, 19,5 kg, 18,6 kg, 18 kg, 16,5 kg, 16 kg et 33 carpes entre 10 et 15 kg. (Tous des communes). Aussi quelques carpes de moins de 10 kg. Aussi 4 miroirs: 15,5 kg, 15 kg, et 2 d'environ 10 kg.
